Food Box Foundation was founded in February 2022 with the mission to combat hunger and malnutrition among underprivileged communities. Guided by the belief that "No one should be Read moreleft hungry", we have served over 1,00,000 meals through our community kitchens, food donation drives, and relief efforts. Our work began during the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and has since expanded to include educational support for children through initiatives like Gully Kids Pathshala, as well as programs addressing health and hygiene. We aim to build a hunger-free and empowered society by making nutritious food accessible and supporting holistic community development.

We address the critical issues of hunger, malnutrition, and lack of access to education among underserved communities. Our work ensures that vulnerable populations, especially children and families living in poverty, receive nutritious food and basic educational support.

The Food Box Community Kitchen is our flagship initiative providing wholesome, affordable meals at just ₹35 to daily wage workers, laborers, rickshaw pullers, and other underserved individuals in Prayagraj. Located strategically near Transport Nagar, our kitchen serves over 300 people daily and promotes dignity and nutrition for all. It also operates with a sustainable social enterprise model to cover partial costs. -
Gully Kids Pathshala
Location: Bhagalpura, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

Gully Kids Pathshala is an educational initiative by Food Box Foundation that provides free daily learning sessions to underprivileged children from slum and low-income communities in Prayagraj. The program covers basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills for children from Class 1 to 8, along with extracurricular activities and moral education. Currently, over 150 children are supported with stationery, school supplies, and dedicated volunteers and educators.
