Yashodha Education and Charitable Trust having registration number BNG (U) BTM 34/2013-14, No. 1282 16th Main Road, Mico Layout, Hongasandra Bangalor Read moree – 560068 was started during the financial year 2013-14, is a home for children, women and elderly people and specially-abled. The main vision of the NGO is to provide complete support, protection and care to the poor and needy and create better life for them. The mission of the NGO is to support the needy rural community people by providing adequate protection, care, and rehabilitation support with innovative service initiatives in their grooming and to elevate their lives in a healthy, social, cultural and economical way. The NGO has nearly 35 orphan people who are getting groomed with proper food and education. The NGO had tried its hand in managing a school for children but due to financial constraints, it was given up for running to another organization in the year 2019 and presently feeding the needy 3 times a day with good food. The NGO has adopted the following services in its routine with the help of volunteers, staff and Donors : 1. Social Service – In Social Service the NGO conducts education, and competitions to the needy and poor children and rewards them by giving prizes and encouraging and nurturing them to improve their communications. 2. Medical Programs – In Medical Programs, rehabilitation services, first aid training, services in hospitals and medical support to the needy. 3. Legal awareness programs – On child marriages, dowry deaths, domestic cruelty, and sexual harassment of women and students at work and institutions. 4. Education Programs – Material and fees support in schools, tuition for the needy, scholarships etc. 5. Job Oriented Programs – Employment vocational training programs, skill development and employment assistance. 6. Human rights awareness programs 7. Save Earth Programs – Environmental education and Swach Bharat. 8. Roti Kapada and Makan Programs – Agricultural support, awareness and training programs, youth development, leadership and internship programs, empowerment programs, cloth and housing programs, emergency shelters, permanent shelters and householdd support. 9. Old Age & Physically Challenged Welfare Programs – Oldage homes, elderly care, recreation programs, disability rights and specially-abled persons care and shelter. 10. Women and Child Welfare Programs. The NGO has decided to start Cancer Hospitals and support Cancer patients both financially and medically for treatment and well-being. As seen many Cancer Patients suffer heavily due to dreaded disease both physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. As there are many types of Cancers and treatments, people run to various places, spend a lot of money for treatment and still at times they succumb to the disease. To overcome all these the NGO has decided to start Cancer Hospitals in many places in India, run Cancer awareness programs and help the poor and needy suffering from Cancer to overcome the disease. Donations for the NGO are exempted from Income Tax under section 80g 5(VI) as per the orders of the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax Bangalore.
