DigiSwasthya Foundation is a young non-profit organization established in June 2021 by a childhood cancer survivor, Mr. Sandeep Kumar. It is a Section Read more 8 organization registered under the Companies Act of 2013. Mission: DigiSwasthya is making healthcare services accessible and affordable for rural communities across India by leveraging technology. Motivation: Mr Sandeep suffered from sarcoma as a child, and he did not want anyone to go through the turmoil of being unable to find the correct diagnosis at the right time. Healthcare awareness, especially for rare cancers, is negligible in Indian villages. Concept: We have a Phygital (physical + digital) model where we help the rural community avail healthcare services via teleconsultations with doctors from tier 1 hospitals. Services Provided: DigiSwasthya Foundation delivers quality healthcare services via teleconsultations, awareness camps, and referral pathways to the remotest parts of India. Our panel of healthcare professionals includes doctors across all specializations and languages. The patient navigator at our centre measures the vitals using digital devices, shares them with the doctors, facilitates a consultation through a telemedicine platform, generates an electronic medical record, generates a prescription, translates the instructions, etc. There are referral pathways for our patients, pro-bono or subsidized healthcare services, including tie-ups with pharmacies and diagnostic labs. 1. Health and Awareness Camps: We conduct on-ground awareness and health camps to educate the masses about telemedicine. Our team goes from village to village with educational material and teaches rural households how they can avail of affordable and accessible services through DigiSwasthya Telemedicine Centres. 2. Accessibility: We set up telemedicine Phygital centres in the heart of rural communities, thereby improving access to quality healthcare. 3. Aid: All our teleconsultations are subsidized and affordable to everyone in need. We provide referral pathways for our patients and provide them with pro-bono or subsidized healthcare services, including tie-ups with pharmacies and diagnostic labs. 4. Telemedicine Services: We provide telemedicine services that allow patients to connect with healthcare professionals remotely. This service enables patients to consult with healthcare providers from the comfort of their own homes, saving time and money while increasing access to healthcare. Impact Created (as of 31st March 2023) • 25395+ patients served • 235+ consultations for cancer patients • 150+ COVID-19 consultations • 130+ healthcare professionals onboard • 5 Phygital telemedicine centres in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Maharashtra • 750+ health awareness and teleconsultation camps across India • 10 cancer survivors and family members of cancer patients employed and empowered • 7,50,000+ beneficiaries impacted, directly & indirectly At DigiSwasthya Foundation, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of patients in India through technology.
