The DigiSwasthya Telemedicine Centre is a transformative initiative aimed at making quality healthcare accessible and affordable for rural communities. These centers are strategically established in the heart of underserved regions, acting as a critical healthcare hub that connects patients with expert doctors and healthcare services.

Key Functions of the Telemedicine Centre

    1. Teleconsultations with Expert Doctors:
    - Patients consult with doctors from Tier 1 hospitals remotely through a secure telemedicine platform.
    - These consultations cover various specialties, ensuring holistic care for diverse medical needs.

    2. Vital Monitoring and Data Sharing:
    - Patient navigators at the centers use advanced digital devices to measure vital parameters like blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and temperature.
    - This data is shared with doctors during consultations, enabling accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plans.

    3. Electronic Medical Records (EMR):
    - The centers generate electronic medical records for each patient, ensuring continuity of care and easy follow-up.

    4. Prescription Generation and Translation:
    - Prescriptions are generated electronically after consultations, and patient navigators translate the instructions into the local language for better understanding.

    5. Referral Pathways and Subsidized Care:
    - Patients requiring advanced treatment are referred to partner hospitals, pharmacies, and diagnostic labs.
    - DigiSwasthya ensures access to pro-bono or subsidized services through collaborations with healthcare providers.

    6. Health Awareness and Education:
    - The centers educate the local population about preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and the benefits of telemedicine.

    7. Empowering Communities:
    - By employing and training local staff, including cancer survivors and caregivers, the centers empower communities economically and socially.
