  • Magic Classroom on Television

    District

    In collaboration with SCERT Maharashtra, the Foundation's 'English' classroom is broadcast on DD Sahyadri across Maharashtra. These televised classrooms adopt a distinctive teaching approach and are synchronized with the state's Balbharti textbooks and curriculum. The video-based lessons aim to enhance English literacy among students by providing engaging and informative content. By aligning with the state's educational framework, these televised sessions offer students an opportunity to supplement their learning and reinforce key concepts taught in school.

    In collaboration with Government schools, Pehlay Akshar focuses on enhancing students' English proficiency and equipping them with essential 21st-century skills. Recognizing English as a crucial medium of communication in today's competitive world, the programmes aim to create conducive learning environments. Through diverse learning philosophies and an emphasis on creative thinking and socio-emotional skills, students are well-prepared for the demands of the modern era. Milestones & Track Record

Pehlay Akshar has expanded from a single school in Worli in 2008 to partnering with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to train and support over 10,000 BMC teachers, launched digital initiatives during the pandemic, and created a collaborative learning ecosystem for improving English Literacy and 21st Century Skills.
