    District

We give women the tools they need to become educated, powerful individuals, and to live honourable, violence-free lives.

One of the most pervasive and least acknowledged human rights violations in the world is still violence against women.

This takes many different forms in India, including trafficking, abuse, public humiliation, economic oppression, sexual assault, domestic violence, and "honour" killings. In India, one in two women report having experienced violence at some point in their life.

We operate a government-approved Mahila Samupadeshan Kendra from the Saki Naka, Kashimira, Goregaon, Oshiwara, and Malad police stations to assist women in fighting against all forms of violence. Over 2000 women have benefited from our effective assistance in leading secure lives.
