Heal a Child Foundation is a Charitable trust & Non Profit Organization incorporated in Hyderabad in June 2010, founded with the objective to help si Read moreck children in need of medical treatment. We do not focus on a specific area of illness. Our aid is available to any sick child who needs it. Our mission is to save sick children who may not survive, not because of their illness, but only because the family cannot afford to pay for medical expenses & prolonged in-patient treatment at the hospital.


Action

The children who we support are directly referred by local Children’s hospitals. The child is treated by the hospital and funded by HAC. Most cases are newborns that are born premature and need intensive case support. The average cost of each case is 1.0 Lakh , cases like transplants range from 8 to 20 lakhs per child. When the child is well, HAC does a review and then the child goes back home.
