The goal of MCKS SAATHIYA is to support young people from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds who want to pursue careers in hospitality operations. The programme was started in February 2022 and is run in conjunction with SAATHIYA, the Skilling Academy (a Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiative).

To assist young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing careers in hotel management, this programme offers a special blend of short-term skill training and long-term career support.

The programme module consists of six weeks of classroom and lab instruction; and three months of on-the-job training (OJT) with pay. Thus far, MCKS SAATHIYA has trained 37 students for the ICDP in the hospitality business.
