24-hour emergency short stay shelter at Amberpet, Hyderabad: Sayodhya runs a shelter home for women in distress, with a focus on victims of GBV and sexual abuse, with meals included. Women experiencing violence, and/or individuals on their behalf can call to make a report and seek shelter. Furthermore, individuals, police or other NGO workers can bring women into the facility. Since its establishment in 2010 to till date, Sayodhya has provided emergency shelter and other ancillary services to more than 3000 women and young girls via a 23-bed shelter home in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad, which is supported by GHMC.

Helpline 1800 599 1811: Sayodhya's helpline has proved to be a lifeline for many victims of domestic violence. Victims of gender-based violence (GBV) use the helpline to seek assistance from Sayodhya, ranging from in-home counselling to being rescued by our staff and then transferred to our women’s shelter. Moreover, NGOS, government institutions, and other individuals in the community use the helpline to report incidences of violence. Sayodhya aims to have dedicated personnel to handle the calls and give out information, provide counseling, connect with government agencies, facilitate emergency help, etc.

Rescue Team: Sayodhya has a rescue team on board consisting of one project coordinator, counsellors, and an electric auto driver. The team is part of the GHMC task force under its SMILE Project, which aims to rescue and rehabilitate homeless people and beggars, in Khairatabad, Charminar and LB Nagar Zones and conducts regular drives and surveys, which have proved to be quite successful in helping many homeless people people and beggars, especially those who are mentally ill and have been abandoned by their families.

Free Legal Aid Clinic: Sayodhya runs a free Legal Aid Clinic on Saturdays where women can speak to a legal advisor. It has a legal coordinator who, If necessary, takes up the cases and files petitions and helps with police and court. It has law interns from reputed law schools assisting the advisor.

Mythri Family Counselling Centres

Mythri Free Family Counselling Centres (FFCCs): Sayodhya has established Mythri free family counselling centres by training active women from SHGs to become community counsellors to provide meaningful mediation in case of family disputes. These community counsellors collaborate with law enforcement and judicial officials to ensure women have access to entitlements and other legal measures to physically protect them and their children. Sayodhya has already initiated 10 centres this year.

As part is efforts to empower women, Sayodhya facilitating skill training as well as livelihood and enterprise support various fields, including cooking, tailoring, adda leaf plate making, organic farming, among others.
KRITI - Training cum Production Centre (TCPC) for Lambada women: Sayodhya has started a Banjara embroidery Training Cum Production Centre (TCPC), focusing on preserving the traditional lambada embroidery as well as on facilitating training and income to 100 Lambada women. The idea is to increase the marketability of their products.
Adda leaf plate making unit: In order to provide resilient livelihoods to women both at the shelter home as well as the Rehabilitation Centre, Sayodhya had established an Adda leaf plate making unit at the Shelter Home and Rehabilitation Centre at Institute of Mental Health Erragadda, where mentally recovered women from the women's ward are earning some income and and empowerment through this activity.

Rehabilitation Centre at Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Erragadda, Hyderabad: Since 2020, Sayodhya has been running a Rehabilitation Centre in the closed women's ward of IMH Erragadda with the mission to reintegrate women who have recovered from mental illness but have been abandoned by their families in the facility back into society. It is doing so through basic hygiene training, etiquette training, life skills, literacy, numeracy, skill development, nutrition support, etc. So far, it has managed to bring over 100 women out of the institution. Currently, there are 21 women in the rehabilitation centre. It has also expanded the program to include the men's ward, to facilitate men who have recovered from mental illness to become empowered.

Evening Learning Centres (ELCs) for slum children: Sayodhya is running 50 centres across the slums of Hyderabad to bridge the learning gap among slum children through tuition for 2 hours every day in community buildings. The highlight of the initiative is that the tudors Sayodhya trains—young women doing intermediate, graduation, or post-graduation—are themselves from the same slums.

Impact
Key achievements and impact in the last 5 years: Provided shelter and food to over 3000 women and young girls at the Shelter Home so far (200 girls pursuing further education stayed at Sayodhya). Provided garment making training to 500 underprivileged women since 2016 and 100 women supported with enterprise development in association with New Voice Foundation. Imparted professional teacher training courses on preschool education to 200 underprivileged young women from rural and urban Andhra Pradesh. Addressed 1500 cases of domestic violence, harassment, child marriages, and physical and mental abuse by providing support in the form of legal and psychosocial counselling. Placed 300 young girls in different jobs after successful skill-building and job-orientation training. Prepared 30 residents for the open 10th class examination. Provided basic skill training and repatriated 80 women inmates of Institute of Mental Health, Erragadda, Hyderabad, back to their families. Provided training to 25 transgenders on News Anchoring and Radio Jockeying and provided internships to 17 of them in association with Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in AP (SEEDAP). Conducted skill training on menstrual hygiene management and reusable pad making to 245 government school students and SHG women under Make Your Own Pad Program in 2022-23. Imparted cook training to 22 women SHG members in association with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. Provided jute and cloth bag training to 24 women from Dharur Mandal, Vikarabad, Telangana in association with NABARD. Trained over 25 Lambada women in Banjara embroidery under the KRITI - Training Cum Production Centre Project, fostering cultural preservation and economic empowerment. Provided intensive stitching training to 15 women, enhancing their employability and income-generation opportunities.
