Originally an 80-bed general hospital, Bangalore Baptist Hospital (BBH) has expanded significantly to become a leading 450-bed tertiary care teaching Read morehospital, recognised for its compassionate service and state-of-the-art facilities. Marking five decades of lifesaving work, BBH holds the distinction of being the first mission hospital in India to attain national quality standards (NABH and NABL) in healthcare. BBH administers postgraduate training programmes spanning 18 medical specialties and accommodates Nursing and Allied Health Institutes. Boasting a committed team of 350 doctors and 2000 staff, BBH prioritises the delivery of ethical, top-notch care, leveraging advanced medical technology. In line with its ethos rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, BBH's mission encompasses delivering compassionate care, nurturing academic and research excellence, advocating governance and innovation, and supporting the underserved. Noteworthy is BBH's practice of earmarking a portion of its revenue to subsidise treatment for economically disadvantaged patients through its Community Health Department. BBH operates as a nonprofit entity under Indian tax laws, with provisions for receiving foreign contributions, underscoring its dedication to enhancing healthcare accessibility and overall quality of life.

  • Adhyapak Healthcare Programme

    The Adhyapak Healthcare programme at Bangalore Baptist Hospital extends exclusive healthcare privileges to educators and educational institution staff. Eligible individuals, along with their dependents, can apply for the Adhyapak card, entitling them to various discounts on outpatient and inpatient services, including consultations, procedures, laboratory tests, medications, and physiotherapy. Additionally, they receive discounts on health check packages, Dexa Scan, and services availed during evening clinic hours. These benefits aim to support educators and their families in accessing quality healthcare at affordable rates.

  • De - Addiction Camps

    Delivering a unique community-based approach, de-addiction services are brought directly to rural areas, offering villagers free counselling and support at their doorstep. The initiative sees active participation from community members, families, village leaders, and stakeholders. Additionally, a programme targeting women's addiction issues has been introduced, further expanding the initiative's reach and impact on promoting healthier lifestyles.
