Narayana Hrudayalaya Charitable Trust (NHCT) came into existence in March 2004. NHCT is registered as public charitable trust under section 12A of Read morethe Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Registration No. DIT (E)/12A/VOL.III/N-255/W-2/04-05. NHCT holds approval under section 80G (5) (vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Trust is located at Narayana Health City, 258/A Bommasandra Industrial Area, Hosur Road, Bangalore. The Trust was created with an objective and aim to establish, maintain, administer and run clinics, healing centres and nursing homes to make available quality and affordable health care to all persons without any discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, language and community. The Trust has been providing support towards catastrophic expenses incurred by patients from poor socio-economic status, besides this, the Trust has been engaged in maternal health programs, nutritional surveillance programs for adolescents and conducts non-communicable disease surveillance programs with focus on oral and breast cancer.
