KADAM is a NGO for Rural India, our vision is to tackle the roots and not the symptoms of poverty in rural areas leading to unskilled youth migration Read moreto urban cities. We thus empower the village communities- mainly women & youth by improving their skill level and thus self-employment/livelihood options mostly via handicrafts – the ancestral basic skill mostly all of them inherit.

KADAM's vision is to unleash the power of communities and earth's materials to build an equitable, sustainable, happy world. Its mission is to build resilient ecosystems at scale through the use of earth materials, innovation, sustainable practices, livelihood generation, and creation of products encouraging conscious consumption.

Key milestones include KADAM's founding in 2006, establishment of KADAM HAAT in 2008 to market artisan products, and expansion of operations across multiple states and crafts over the years.
