KADAM is a NGO for Rural India, our vision is to tackle the roots and not the symptoms of poverty in rural areas leading to unskilled youth migration Read moreto urban cities. We thus empower the village communities- mainly women & youth by improving their skill level and thus self-employment/livelihood options mostly via handicrafts – the ancestral basic skill mostly all of them inherit.

KADAM has positively impacted over 10,000 artisans in its 18-year journey, increasing rural women's income by 10-33% and setting up 12 artisan-led enterprises.

Its mission is to build resilient ecosystems at scale through the use of earth materials, innovation, sustainable practices, livelihood generation, and creation of products encouraging conscious consumption.
