Instances of wildlife in distress are promptly reported to our Pune-based headquarters through our 24-hour helplines, manned by concerned citizens, or by officials from the Maharashtra Forest Department and other governmental agencies. RESQ has been duly authorized by the Government of Maharashtra to conduct statewide wild animal rescues in collaboration with the Forest Department.
Upon rescue, the animals are admitted to our Wildlife Transit Treatment Centre in Pune, recognized by the Maharashtra Forest Department. Here, they receive essential veterinary care and rehabilitation.
