Ether India in Trivandrum, Kerala is working towards transforming the lives of marginalized children who lives in children’s homes, tribal settlements Read more and slum. Ether India will equip our beneficiaries to dream big through education, empowerment and engagement activities. All hands-on practical workshops, online classes, activities which connects the participants to self, others and nature are conducted by a group of experts. Ether India trains participants from various parts of Trivandum such as children’s homes and tribal settlements. Majority of these students have very small goals in their lives. We provide various workshops, mentoring programmes and life skill training. FunLingua: learn English through Manglish (mixture of English and Malayalam languages), Kuttikoottam: trains children life skills, Thenarivu: an unique program to strengthen the children in tribal settlements of Vamanapuram are the some of the activities of Ether India. We also promote libraries in children’s homes and tribal settlement. We could start a library at Eyakode tribal settlement with the support of many kind people. Ether India is registered under Travencore Cochin Literary, scientific and Charitable Registration Act 1956, and certified by 12A and 80G of Income Tax Exception. Why Ether India? Ether is the fifth known classical element, like water, fire, earth and air. It is the material that fills the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere. However ether was described as being the power of life. It is almost like an extension to magic. For us, it is the space where marginalized children can find the power of life to make a magic in life. Many of the children in CCIs and tribal settlements have very limited dream to achieve in lives. At Ether India, we want to empower the children to dream big and achieve it. Our activities are divided into three phases: Education, Empowerment and Engagement.
