    LPF through it’s merit-cum-need based scholarships and skill building programs supports girls pursuing Master of Science – statistics/mathematics/applied chemistry etc., MCA/MCS/MSc-IT, ME, Master of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Nursing in Pune region. So far over 1,500 young women are being supported under this project and passed out girls are pursuing their careers. This project is functional since last 28 years.

So far, over 11,000 girls are supported under this project and passed out girls are progressing in their careers very well. This project is functional since past 12 years.

    LPF School Project – ‘2morrow 2gether’ – LPF supports school girls from Pune city and rural part of Pune region in 13 semi-government and low-income private schools from 7th grade upto their graduation through merit-cum-need based scholarships, school aids, skill building programs, behavioral Counselling and need based School Infrastructure. So far over past 12 years, over 2,900 girls are being supported under this project.

Impact

LPF through its great support of partners and donors have been enabling the transformation of around 16,000 girls and their families. Over 50% of these girls who have completed their education out of which over 65%-70% girls are pursuing career in organizations across the world, over 15%-20% are doing post-graduation, over 5% opted for government sector jobs and around 5% are turned into qualified & educated home makers. These employed girls have been supporting their sibling’s education, financially supporting their families, progressing in their careers, some of them giving back to LPF and society through volunteering, donations etc. LPF has enabled a life- long transformation in the lives of these girls and their families. These girls are academically, intelligently, economically and socially empowered, contributing to the economic growth of the globe. LPF thus contributed immensely to at least 9 of UN’s SDGs out of 17.

LPF's vision is to be the most valued foundation for transforming disadvantaged Indian girls into independent and responsible citizens, while its mission is to empower meritorious and economically disadvantaged Indian girls through scholarships, life skills, and employability training.
