Prioritizing the health and hygiene of young girls and women from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, the Sanitary Pads Initiative concentrates on addressing these critical concerns. It begins by educating the beneficiaries about menstrual health and subsequently ensures regular distribution of sanitary pads. This initiative extends its support to over 500 girls and women, encompassing individuals from Asha Deep Centers and Kayakalp, contributing significantly to their well-being and comfort.

In 2001, it commenced the Adopted Schools initiative, an ongoing effort aimed at nurturing and assisting students enrolled in schools serving marginalized communities. This programme has benefitted 464 students across nine schools, providing support, encouragement, and guidance. Notably, it acknowledges academic excellence by awarding prizes to high-achieving students and extends scholarships to those in need during a significant annual event.

It runs 'Samvedana,' a project dedicated to gathering clothes, toys, and household items generously donated by caring citizens. Focusing on items in good condition, it carefully sorts and repairs as required. The distribution process prioritizes preserving the dignity of the recipients, ensuring their self-respect remains intact. This thoughtful approach has reached nearly 20,000 individuals, providing them with essential items collected through this initiative.

The 'Asha Deep' initiative stands as a distinctive street-to-school programme designed to reach underprivileged children. It brings education to these youngsters by setting up centres under flyovers, on footpaths, and in slum areas. Operating for 2-3 hours daily, these centres not only educate but also facilitate the enrollment of these children in nearby schools. This impactful endeavour extends its reach to over 450 children across 15 centres, providing them with essential educational opportunities.

The initiative termed ADMS dedicates itself to mentoring 84 deserving Asha Deep students, ranging from 1st to 8th standard. It provides these youngsters with an innovative and aesthetically pleasing learning environment situated near Sursagar. Maintaining a student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1 ensures each child receives personalized attention. Alongside academic support, ADMS places equal importance on extracurricular activities and holistic development, fostering a well-rounded growth approach for these students.

Since its inception in 2005, the Open Scholarship initiative has steadily expanded its reach, now benefiting nearly 3,800 students spanning from 8th standard to graduation. This flagship programme distinguishes itself through personalized assessments and periodic reassessments of the students it supports. Annually, it disburses scholarships amounting to Rs. 1.2 crores, emphasizing the commitment to fostering educational pursuits among deserving individuals.

The Kayakalp initiative strives for the comprehensive development of deserving students in 9th to 12th standard. It produces a holistic transformation through a combination of regular schooling and daily Kayakalp classes, each lasting over 3 hours, held at Baroda High School, Danteshwar. These sessions encompass various aspects such as personality development, Spoken English, and more. Currently, it supports a group of over 150 students, offering them free transportation, study materials, uniforms, and other essentials, ensuring their access to quality education and overall growth.
