It serves the poor, socially ex Read morecluded and the marginalized in situations of poverty, injustice and disaster irrespective of caste, creed or religion. STCET is registered as a not for profit society on 30th December 1996 under section 27 of Tamil Nadu Society Registration act 1975. Our Governing body ie Managing Committee- Majority of then are female under the presidentship of Dr R Kamalakannan. Annai ITI is the Sister concern of St. Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust and it was established in the year 1997 to train the educated youth ,un employed and school dropout on their various skills to generate income and to facilitate better livelihood. We also resource vocational training for people who are excluded from education such as women, single mothers, Destitute and to help them to become contributing members of the society. This organization is the combination of a strong belief that enlightening minds and empowering them are the only way of battling and eliminating social evils and uplighting society. St. Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET) through its initiatives provide access not only for quality education but also inculcate values, commitment and dedication to the society, thereby helping us to build a strong future for all downtrodden and rural/ urban poor women.
