Aftercare Programme
The Aftercare Project by Snehalaya, initiated in 2012, is pivotal for reintegrating institutionalized youth into society. Aimed at fostering self-reliance, it supports those transitioning from Child Care Institutions to independent adulthood. As an outreach programme of the Don Bosco Society, Snehalaya operates five homes for children in need. Recognizing the challenges faced by youths leaving these homes, the project was launched by the founder director to assist young adults in securing decent jobs. With a motto to 'take them off the street and put them on their feet,' the project's goal is to reintegrate youths as economically independent individuals.
