The programme aims for rural youth self-reliance, emphasizing values alongside skill development, such as tailoring, beauty parlour, and computer operations. Training centres in needy village centres offer these courses, contributing significantly to poverty reduction, with 147 youths trained, many finding employment or engaging in self-employment opportunities.

With limited access to markets and small landholdings, farmers face debts, surviving on meagre profits for only a few months. BJKSS aims to alleviate these challenges by improving market access, diversifying livelihoods, and breaking barriers to employment for the literate population, contributing to poverty alleviation and livelihood improvements.
