Capacity Building Programme
DEEDS conducts a Capacity Building Programme, raising awareness about women's rights and laws, providing gender-focused training, adolescent education, and institution building. DEEDS operates an Advocacy and Legal Aid Centre, championing women's rights and supporting victims of abuse. They provide legal representation and assistance to women in need, with their legal team successfully addressing 60-70 cases of violence annually. Alongside, DEEDS conducts seminars and workshops to share key learnings. Utilizing the Right to Information (RTI), the organisation advocates for gender equality, obtaining valuable data on issues like sexual harassment prevention in the workplace and child marriage. Individuals also benefit from DEEDS' RTI expertise for their advocacy efforts.
