Tribhuvandas Foundation popularly known as TF is a Non Government Organization(NGO)  in Central Gujarat working in health sector. It was founded by Read more founder of AMUL (Anand Milk Union Co Operative Ltd) Shri Tribhuvandas Kishibhai Patel in year 1970 and registered under Bombay trust act in 1975. The motto behind establishment of health care initiative by milk union was to provide primordial and primary health care to care providers of cattle i.e. women and their children at their doorsteps. Preventive care is its main component rather than curative although it provides primary health care to all. Since its inception it is working in district Kheda then and now in Anand, Kheda and Mahisagar districts of Central Gujarat . Tribhuvandas Foundation is establishing link with local dairy co operative units associated with AMUL for effective community participation as per its mandate. Thus this is an unique co-operative model for health care delivery system. At present Tribhuvandas Foundation is working with 850 dairy co operative units of Anand, Kheda and Mahisagar districts of central Gujarat. Tribhuvandas Foundation is educating rural women regarding Anemia, Antenatal care, Post natal care, Child birth care, child care, nutrition and other allied aspect in villages by doing their house hold visits by its health care workers known as Field Workers. For providing continuous health care, TF identified one voluntary health worker with the help of local dairy co operative units. TF trained them , educate them and empowered them to provide health education and primary treatment continuously at village level, This VHW is available for care of women and child.

  • Menstrual hygiene programme

    The foundation is conducting a program to distribute affordable sanitary napkins while also educating about menstrual hygiene. Currently, the foundation independently operates this initiative, offering sanitary pads at a reasonable price. Presently, the foundation distributes 30,000 packs of sanitary pads monthly.

  • Core Community Program of Mother and Child Care - Jatan

    Comprehensive Community based Mother and Child Health care model is of utmost importance. It provides basic primary care and timely referral services to pregnant mothers, lactating mothers and their newborns. It is not only restricted to physical health but also includes mental and social dimensions of health. With the expansion of services, over a period of time, it was not restricted to mother and child, but it means to provide basic primary health care by our Village Volunteers, to all at door steps.

  • Nutri Milk CSR Project

    Nutrimilk (Supported through Alltech Biotech, Bangaluru)- With the aim to improve the nutritional status of school going children, nutrient rich milk was given to children of selected schools of Anand district on daily basis.
