Since its establishment in 1933 by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, the School of Nursing at St. Martha’s Hospital has evolved into a College of Nursing, offering both Degree and Diploma Courses in Nursing. Recognizing the growing demand for quality nurse educators and administrators, the college was further enhanced by introducing M.Sc. Nursing and Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC) courses in 2016 and 2020, respectively. Affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka State Nursing Council, the college has trained numerous nurses whose skills and competence are acclaimed worldwide.

St. Martha’s Hospital, accredited to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences since 1984, offers Residency programs leading to the "Diplomate of National Board (DNB)" degree in specialties including Anesthesiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Pediatrics. Admission is through the NEET PG exam, with selection by the NBEMS based on candidates' rankings. The institution boasts highly qualified faculty actively engaged in academic sessions, training programs, and thesis supervision to foster research-oriented learning. Regular meetings and lectures by visiting faculty enrich the medical staff's knowledge, while departmental clinical meetings facilitate case discussions for DNB trainees.
