    To combat gender inequality and change unequal power relations, we involve men and boys and support the empowerment of women and girls. We enable women to form social enterprises that expand the possibilities for sustainability, improve their standard of living, and increase their income. Women can make improvements in other aspects of their lives with increased financial security.

    Zalkari focuses its efforts on three main areas where it thinks it can make the biggest difference: entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and respectable employment. We thus give assisting individuals to rebuild their livelihoods following natural catastrophes and humanitarian crises a lot of thought.

Impact

1116 young women were benefitted by the skill development and vocational training program in 13 villages from Thane and Raigad district 7 village libraries have been set up for about 969 children with around 200 books in each library in Khalapur and Dharani Blocks. Child rights awareness campaign was conducted in 19 villages, in Raigad and Amravati Districts 234 adolescent girls become aware of menstrual health and hygiene scientific practices in Padgha cluster and Panvel block 145 SHGs were capacitated for smooth financial management and entrepreneurship About 81 young people benefitted from the life skills and career guidance programs 172 people benefited by various social security schemes in Khalapur, Pali and Bhiwandi locations 56 households from NT communities in Amravati received housing scheme benefits 84 individuals in three villages of Dharani block received MNREGA job cards.
