Pir Panchal Organisation Came into existence in 1995 after the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley of Kashmir, wherein Volunteers took a vow Read moreto work together for the betterment of the community and of the surroundings inhabited by the farmers and downtrodden people. It was decided to work in the fields of Culture ,Education, Social, Environmental and Sports fields for the all-round development of Society . Initially, the social work started among the displaced people and then to the local and other places of the state after it was officially recognized and registered under the Registrar of Societies Act in 1999 on 24/04/1999 under Registration No 3258-S. The Organisation has had 1000 cultural functions including dramas, song competitions, celebrations on different days and spread all over the state. More than 300 dignitaries including Ministers, Bureaucrats, Cultural Activists and others attended those functions and praised the organization for its efforts. The organisation helped over 4000 hundred students from below the poverty line to have computer courses and made them capable to stand on their own legs and earn livelihood around the state. Besides Organisation helped poor and marginal students seek admissions in different professional courses and classes by providing educational help. Organised hundreds of farmer welfare meetings and farmers training camps where hundreds of farmers participated and were benefited. The organization is accredited by WWF for having played a role in helping preserve and protect Environment. Conducted environment preservation camps in schools around the state and initiated debates among the students for the topic. Held rallies with people to raise awareness among the general masses so that the progeny is secure. Pir Panchal organised 3211 Small and large diabetic detection and awareness camps along with Dr Jeetender Singh Presently Minister in PMO s Office Government of India and other prominent Doctors and medical experts, More than 1000 medical camps also were organised were in hundreds of doctors gave free service and help. For sound mind and peace around one needs to keep body fit, in this connection, physical health awareness camps including Volleyball matches were organized in Jammu and the organisation has the distinction to watch Indian Captain also playing in the tournament.
