Colours Learning Education Trust (CLET) was founded in 2015 in an effort to provide a safe, conducive and holistic learning environment for autistic Read more individuals. The founders Sharad and Bela Joshi observed that many autistic individuals, while bright, struggled to cope with the mainstream education system, including special schools. There was a dearth of tailored systems of learning for ASD individuals that were designed based on one’s  strengths, triggers and challenges. In the absence of knowledge and support systems to provide a conducive learning environment, CLET was formed to support others like their son who lacked knowledge or access to such systems. Colours Learning Education Trust is an NGO dedicated to the cause of Autism and we completed  5 years  in January 2021. Our trust runs Colours Centre For Learning (CCFL) as one of its endeavours in the field of Autism and we have taken it upon ourselves to do it with a difference. // We believe that all Autistic individuals should be treated with dignity and respect. We provide individual attention to each student, while also making sure that the family members are involved in the development of the child for which we offer consistent and persistent counselling. We strongly believe that Autistic individuals of any age can be helped to move forward. Hence, age is no bar for us as long as the family is dedicated to the progress of the child. We offer everything that is important for the individual's development through our carefully designed curriculum. For each individual, we address their formal, informal and non-formal educational needs. Every day at Colours Centre For Learning is a mix of art, academics, computers, sports, music, movement therapy, lego therapy and activity time. We do a field trip or school event every month. We strongly believe that a sustained effort always brings success in the life of our students. OUR VISION : We believe every individual on the autism spectrum has the inherent ability to lead meaningful lives with the right kind of support. We work towards enabling education with a difference for those on the ASD to enable them to live healthy, dignified and meaningful lives.  OUR MISSION: At Colours, we work towards redefining quality education for those on the spectrum by identifying and leveraging inherent skills in an individual through a systematic approach that enables them to learn by interest.
