The trust focuses on education, skill development, and holistic support to foster independence and improve quality of life. With a strong commitment to compassion and community development, the trust provides essential resources such as food, clothing, and educational materials. Through various programs, it aims to create lasting positive change, embodying its motto, "Make them say I am living by you rather than I am living for you." By promoting love and opportunity, Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust strives to build a more equitable and sustainable future for all. We (Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust- Since 2014) has a long-standing commitment to social responsibility, and addressing critical needs of people who are underprivileged, Poor, Orphans, widow in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh ,Karnataka, and Kerala. Since the inception of our Foundation in 2014, we have been doing social service and social reforms for more than 10 years. We have helped countless orphans, poor students, disabled, widowed, elderly, government school students. We provide basic needs such as food, clothing, educational assistance and means of livelihood.

Action

Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust undertakes several impactful actions to support marginalized communities: Educational Support: The trust provides access to quality education for orphans and underprivileged children through tutoring, distribution of educational materials, and career guidance workshops. Women Empowerment: Initiatives include skills training, financial literacy workshops, and support for entrepreneurship, helping women gain economic independence and self-confidence. Livelihood Programs: The trust offers vocational training to unemployed youth, equipping them with skills for various trades, thereby improving their employment prospects and financial stability. Nutritional Assistance: Through meal programs and food distribution, the trust addresses food insecurity among the needy, ensuring access to nutritious meals. Environmental Initiatives: The trust conducts tree plantation drives and awareness campaigns to promote environmental conservation and community engagement in sustainability efforts. Community Awareness: By organizing workshops and events, the trust raises awareness about social issues and the importance of education and empowerment, fostering a sense of community responsibility.

Impact

Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust has made a significant impact across 50+ districts and 354 villages in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala. Over 125,000 individuals, including orphans and underprivileged children, have benefited from educational initiatives. The trust has empowered 83,000 women through various programs focused on skill development and financial independence. Additionally, it has distributed over 810,000 food packets to homeless individuals, addressing food insecurity. In its commitment to environmental causes, the trust has planted more than 73,000 saplings and seed balls, promoting sustainability and community engagement. Education: We conduct offline and online sessions annually, reaching 72,000 students across 38 districts. Since 2014, our Moral Education program, based on Thirukkural, has benefitted 120,000 students in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. We provide educational materials to orphans and underprivileged students, run tutoring programs, and hold monthly workshops on study skills and career guidance, improving academic performance and reducing dropout rates. Beneficiaries: 120,000 individuals Locations: 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh Feed the Needy: For a decade, our NGO has provided nutritious food to homeless individuals, greatly enhancing their well-being. We offer diverse meals, including fruits, vegetables, and proteins, through meal programs, community kitchens, and mobile food pantries. We accommodate special dietary needs and partner with local farms for fresh produce while conducting nutrition workshops to empower healthier choices. Beneficiaries: Over 125,000 food packets distributed Locations: Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Madurai, Theni Livelihood: Since 2014, we have provided free skill-based education to unemployed youth in over 10 locations, including Chennai and Madurai. Our courses include computer applications, electrician training, and agriculture, focusing on empowering women and supporting 10th and 12th-grade dropouts. Over 25,000 youth have benefited from our initiatives. Beneficiaries: 25,000 individuals Locations: Chennai, Dindivanam, Tiruvallur, Madurai, Namakkal Women Empowerment: Educating women is key to economic growth and gender equality. We conduct workshops on entrepreneurship and financial literacy, support women’s cooperatives, and provide mentorship, increasing economic independence. We have distributed 300 sewing machines to widows and underprivileged women. Beneficiaries: 20,000+ women Locations: 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh Hope Warriors: Support for Differently Abled Persons Since 2014, we have provided skills training, assistive devices, and community awareness programs to support individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and social inclusion. Beneficiaries: 500 individuals in Tamil Nadu Locations: Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Vellore, Perambalur, Bangalore, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh Tree Plantation: We raise awareness about environmental conservation through tree planting and educational campaigns. To date, we have planted over 10,000 saplings and distributed 5,000 seed balls, engaging local communities in care and maintenance programs. Additionally, the trust supports women’s cooperatives in product creation and marketing, fostering community collaboration and providing women with platforms to showcase their talents.   • Educate to Empower Program : Zero to Hero

    The educational program of Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust focuses on providing comprehensive support to underprivileged students across various regions. Annually, the trust conducts offline and online sessions that reach approximately 72,000 students from 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. The program emphasizes moral education based on the teachings of Thirukkural, benefitting over 120,000 students since 2014. In addition to this foundational education, the trust distributes essential educational materials, such as books and stationery, to orphans and semi-orphans, and organizes tutoring and after-school programs to enhance academic performance.     The livelihood program of Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust aims to empower unemployed youth by providing them with essential skill-based education and vocational training. Since 2014, the trust has been actively offering courses in various fields, including basic computer applications, electrician training, AC mechanics, beauty therapy, tailoring, and communication skills. With a focus on both urban and rural youth, the program targets individuals who have faced academic challenges, particularly those who have failed 10th or 12th grades. By equipping participants with practical skills relevant to the job market, the trust aims to enhance employability and foster economic independence among youth.

    Additionally, the program recognizes the unique needs of rural communities by offering training in agriculture and animal husbandry, thereby promoting self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods.

  • Tree Plantation Program: "Lets Love our Mother Earth"

    The tree plantation program of Uthirathin Uthavigal Charitable Trust is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among communities. Through various initiatives, the trust has successfully planted over 10,000 saplings and distributed 5,000 seed balls, engaging local schools and communities in hands-on tree planting events. These activities not only enhance green cover but also instill a sense of responsibility toward environmental conservation in participants, especially the younger generation. By incorporating educational campaigns about the importance of trees and their role in combating climate change, the trust fosters a culture of environmental stewardship.
