It has been my utmost Read more pleasure to help around 325 senior citizens every day by providing them with a daily meal and also helping them fulfil their basic needs, treating their medical problems and other household facilities. It started with 11 tiffins every day which was delivered to the abandoned aged and helpless senior citizens when my wife Kalpana used to prepare the meal for them on her own. But as the days passed by, It came to our knowledge that surely there are more people having the same condition and that they are in need of our help. So I started a trust in the name of my late father Himmatlal Modi, named "Shree Himmatlal Harjivandas Modi Charitable Trust" and named my work to the obedient son from Hindu mythology "Shravan Kumar" and we call it "Shravan Tiffin Seva". We have 2 kitchen spaces for preparation of food and packing them in the tiffins and we have 2 Tempos through which tiffins are delivered to their houses. My heart fills with pleasure when any person approaches me and enquires me about the donation process and it's a great feeling to know that so many people are coming forward to help by making donations every day. As it has been 15 years already, I'd been having this thought every day to do something more for these people, to do something great which improves their way of living. So I have planned to build an Old age Home for them for which, by the grace of God, the construction has already started and I've already been blessed with a starting amount of donations. The plot for the Old age Home is around 8km from Bhayander in a place called Uttan and it is 25000 sq ft in area. The total proposed cost for land and construction is around Rs.11 crore
