Sant Eshwer Foundation is a charitable Trust set up by a noble family which had migrated as refugees from Lahore (now in Pakistan) to Delhi on acco Read moreunt of the partition of India. From ashes, the family rose like a Sphinx and by dint of sheer hard work, honesty and commitment established itself in the society and won awards from the Government for their business acumen. The Sant Eshwer Foundation is committed to doing selfless service activities in the area of education, women and child welfare, health care, tribal welfare etc., particularly where these facilities are lacking for the overall development of the country and also to promote social harmony and Indian moral and cultural values. Sant Eshwer Foundation is headed by an octogenarian philanthropist and a redoubtable karmaygi, Shri Khairati Lal Khanna who had acquired the great qualities of his head and heart including the spirit of services activities from his parents, late Shri Sant Ram Khanna, father and late Smt Eshwer Devi Khanna, mother, after whom this Trust has been named, and has passed on the same to his children and grandchildren. All the members of this illustrious family are very sensitive to the sufferings and needs of others. In fact, the entire family is an epitome of the saying “वैष्णव जन तो तेने कहयि जे पीड परायी जाणे” ( True Hindus are those who understand the pangs of sufferings of others.) On the other hand, Rashtriya Sewa Bharati is an apex body of a conglomerate of more than 900 affiliated organizations and ten associate organizations like Hindu Sewa Pratishtha, Bengaluru, Deendayal Research institute, Vidhya Bharati, Arogya Bharati, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Saksham, Arogya Mitra etc. and is closely associated with Sant Eshwer Foundation in it Service activities.
