ग्रामीण सुलभ विकास केंद्र – करांजी, बेडो, राँची, झारखण्ड एक स्वेक्षिक संस्था है जिसका स्थापना 02/06/1992 को क्षेत्र के सामाजिक परबुध एवं गण्यमान लोगों Read more के द्वारा स्थापना की गयी थी स्थापना के पश्चात वर्ष 1994 में बिहार सरकार द्वारा Society Registration Act 21/1860 के अधीन निबंधित करायी गयी थी तत्पश्चात झारखण्ड राज्य अलग होने के बाद झरखनद सरकार के द्वारा वर्ष 2005 – 2006 में फिर से दोबारा Registration करायी गयी है जिसका निबंधन संख्या 194 दिनांक 30/01/2006 है संस्था अपने स्थापना काल से ही आर्थिक, नैतिक, शैक्षणिक, राजनैतिक एवं सामुदिक विकास के लिए अग्रसर रहा है जिससे संस्था को राँची जिला के साथ साथ गुमला, लोहरदगा, सिमडेगा, खूंटी एवं बोकारी जिला में एक अलग पहचान है तथा भविष्य में इस प्रकार का कार्य करने में संस्था के कार्यकारिणी समिती के सदस्यों के साथ साथ सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता पंचायत के मुखिया, सरकारी पदाधिकारी एवं गैर सरकारी सामाजिक प्रबुद्ध लोगों का काफी सहयोग रहा है जिस से संस्था को अपने उद्द्देश्य और कार्यक्रम करने में किसी प्रकार की कोई कठिनाई महसूस नहीं हुई है एवं आशा है की संस्था को भविष्य में भी किसी प्रकार की कोई कठिनाई नहीं होगी | सधन्यवाद

GSVK works towards empowering underprivileged communities, particularly focusing on women, children, and marginalized groups, through initiatives in education, health, sanitation, rural development, and sustainable livelihoods.

Impact

The organization has been working for over three decades to empower poor and marginalized communities, promote conservation efforts, and improve access to healthcare and education in rural areas.

  • Marketing of Minor Forest Products by Women

    There were twenty village meetings.
    There were 406 attendees during the meeting.
    16 Gramme Sabha gatherings were scheduled.
    The attendance at the Gramme Sabha meetings was 644.
    Twenty workshops on women's marketing of minor forest products were held.
    There were 905 attendees in the session.
    205 persons connected to the forest product medicine market

Milestones & Track Record

GSVK has implemented projects to improve TB prevention and treatment access in 50 villages in Meerut, partnered with the Access to Justice project in two districts of Uttar Pradesh, and worked on the emancipation of women and adolescent girls in three blocks of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
