AWO is running an old-age home at Military Colony, Avilala Panchayat, Tirupati Rural Mandal, Ramachandrapuram Mandal and Chandragiri Mandals of Chitto Read moreor District. Presently, we are catering to around 40 senior citizens living in the old age home.. The inhabitants of the house are people from nearby villages, railway stations, bus stand and from police referral cases. We are taking care of the physiological needs providing food, shelter, clothing, medicines,recreational facilities, as well as rehabilitation services at the centre. We also have a part time doctor to who attends to the people in need of medical supervision. We also take care of their emotional needs, the need to be part of the community and make a point to celebrate festivals like Independence Day, Children's Day, Disability Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversaries, Senior Citizen’s Day, etc in the old age home. We also provide cremation services.


Action

Ashraya Welfare Foundation works among migrants, poor and abused women, neglected children, senior citizens, school dropouts, Self Help Groups, and raises awareness on various social, health and current issues.
