The Blood Bank Cross Blood Foundation strongly believes that establishing an indigenous blood bank would offer a sustainable solution in the long term. This initiative aims to bolster our capacity to stock various blood types efficiently. Additionally, implementing a mobile blood bank would address the challenge of sourcing blood from corporates, especially in areas lacking proper infrastructure for donor accommodations. The combined cost for both projects is estimated at around 2.5 crores. Our primary objective for 2016 is to raise the necessary funds to realize both the blood bank and mobile blood bank, overcoming this significant challenge and making them a reality.
