VeerNari Shakti Resettlement Foundation, is a government-registered and renowned not-for-profit NGO, focusing on and supporting the resettlement of wa Read morer/martyr widows ( VeerNaris), including dependents of war-disabled and battle/peace casualties soldiers. It is the only NGO working exclusively with the Indian Armed Forces and paramilitary forces across India and Nepal to support martyr widows and dependents to have dignified livelihoods as per their interests, attitude, and skills.


Action

The foundation provides holistic support including grief counselling, career guidance, skill training, legal aid, psychological counselling, health support, scholarships, drone pilot licensing, job training, self-defence workshops, and financial literacy programs.

Impact

Since its inception in 2016, the foundation has supported over 15,000 families, provided counselling to over 500 veer naris, awarded scholarships to more than 150 children and young widows, conducted skill training for 200 children and 120 widows under 30, and empowered over 2,000 widows and daughters of disabled soldiers.
