    This program focuses on ensuring food and nutritional security, enhancing livelihoods, and fostering self-reliant economic growth. It encompasses conservation efforts for soil, water, and biodiversity, the promotion and application of indigenous technical knowledge, the implementation of climate-resilient and organic agriculture, and related agricultural activities. The ultimate goal of the program is to curb the distress migration of tribals to cities in search of employment, which frequently subjects them to living without adequate life security and just, humane living conditions.

    The Education Program is dedicated to continuous research aimed at understanding the learning methods and techniques of adivasi children. Based on these insights, it designs and develops teaching aids and learning modules. Through ongoing experiments, it actively strives to enhance the quality of Tribal Education by providing support classes in padas and villages. This initiative has expanded to cover 70 villages in Nashik and Palghar districts, with extension services reaching an additional 6 districts in Maharashtra.
    Local Adivasi women are imparted training to conduct tutorials in basic English, Marathi, and Math for children in Std. I to IV. Over 1500 children actively participate in this creative and innovative educational venture.

  • Natural and Human Resource Development

    The core of the endeavors lies in the development and management of both natural and human resources. Over the years, the focus has been on establishing Community Based Organizations and Enterprises, fostering Local Leadership Development, enhancing self-help capabilities through capacity building, and promoting the regeneration of local forests and biodiversity by providing high-quality forest and fruit seeds and saplings. Additionally, the monsoon 'Parasbag' (Kitchen Garden) Program contributes to improved nutritional and food security.

  • Tribal Indigenous Herbal Health Program

    The organisation’s mission is "Health for All," and it is committed to addressing the human tragedy of malnutrition in tribal areas. To combat malnutrition and inadequate medical aid, it has introduced measures utilizing the tribals' own formulations and traditional health practices. The herbal preparations are crafted with low-cost technology, ensuring accessibility and affordability for all. The overarching goal is to cater to the medical and nutritional requirements of vulnerable sections of tribals, promoting a journey towards holistic health.

    Over 300 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) are operating effectively in four tehsils of Nashik and Palghar districts. These SHGs provide institutionalized credit to tribal women at reduced interest rates, fostering the growth of rural, agricultural enterprises, and entrepreneurship. Utilizing the SHG platform, it actively encourages adult education, awareness programs, income generation schemes, indigenous health practices, enterprise planning and development, as well as personality and leadership development.

    Situated in Ambatha, Surgana Tehsil, the organisation operates boys and girls boardings along with a boys hostel in Nashik. Regarded as a 'Sacred Home for Self-Growth' by our students, these three accommodations collectively serve over 500 girls and boys. The ethos of these boardings revolves around self-discipline and self-governance.
