Our Mission : Mainstreaming the semi orphaned, destitute, uncared children and the under privileged by providing them Love, care , education, and support and work towards ensuring that they are not deprived of their basic needs and are given a chance to lead a fulfilling life. Our Vision : We envision a world where every human being is loved, cared and not deprived of the basic necessities. Dr. Guru Prasad hails from a very poor family . He was deprived of education and had to struggle for daily needs. This deprivation led him to start helping a few children near his house. He started by helping a few underprivileged children with food , shelter and education. He took up a small room to house the 15 children he rescued from the roads. He had absolutely no funds to provide for them . He started seeking help with the neighbours and ensured the children’s requirements were taken care of. He then realised that there were certain documents and permits required to house abandoned children. He then ran from pillar to post and got all the documents required to start the children’s home. Adarane Charitable Trust is now complete in terms of documentation and legal papers in 2011. Adarane Charitable Trust now is a home for 25 under privileged, neglected and abandoned children. The children’s home also moved to a bigger place with the help of local donations. The word spread across the community and the parents of the poor families approached Dr Guru Prasad seeking help for Tuition after school. He started a free coaching centre for these children. Free Coaching centres are spread across Devanahalli, Doddaballapura, Bagepalli and Chintamani. Dr. Guru Prasad also helps patients that are HIV positive by showering love and affection and counselling them out of their grief. He ensures that he stands by them when they look unto him for emotional support . Adarane Charitable Trust is also very actively involved in the well being of pregnant women living in rural areas under the project name of Mother and child care . Adarane Charitable Trust takes care of all their requirements and provides financial aid for 18 months . Under the Community development Project, Adarane Charitable Trust helps families in Gudibande Taluk of Chikkaballapura district . This tribe is called the “ Hakki - Pikki “ tribe. Adarane Charitable Trust , helps them build their homes by distributing tents and construction materials. Adarane Charitable Trust , helps the physically challenged by providing wheelchairs and giving physical and emotional support to cope with their daily routine. Adarane Charitable Trust also pays fees for the children of the physically challenged families. Adarane Charitable Trust also helps the abandoned elders by distributing provision and providing physical and emotional support. Making them feel they are important . Adarane Charitable Trust also provides Grocery kits to 50 elders living in an old age home .
