Programs

  • Sponsored Education Programme (SEP)

Aims to provide long-term financial support for the education of workers' children in a housing society by raising money from the community.
Establishes a consistent stream of funding that can be utilised to pay for a certain number of kids to attend a nearby school.
Money is raised by arranging a monthly "raddi" collection in the community, which includes used newspapers and other materials.
Every two to three months, each family is expected to donate to the scheme by donating old newspapers, bottles, and other items that could be sold for charity.

  • Activities Educate a Child (EACH)

Sunshine's "Educate a Child" programme pairs willing sponsors with identified children to create a literate India. Sunshine helps to make the process of getting these kids admitted into accredited schools easier and tracks their academic progress all year round.

These kids are intelligent and eager to learn more, but because most of their families are illiterate, they are unable to recognise the value of education or afford the costs associated with attending school. While some of these children have never attended school, our goal is to get them enrolled.

Connects children from the economically disadvantaged segment of society with specific sponsors to support their higher education.

Establish a pool of children and donors, and offer one-on-one support to guarantee a minimum financial support commitment of four years.

Volunteer recommendations are used to compile a list of worthy kids. Youngsters are chosen from the Sunshine After School Support initiative.
