It is a non-profit, educational social wing of the Salesian Sisters of Chennai province, who work towards bringing the marginalized children, young a Read morend the women in the peripheries of the society through educational, vocational and entrepreneurial programmes and creating avenues conducive to their potentialities. MFET believes in networking and linkages towards connecting the "Have not-s" with "have-s', that uplift the needy. The current spheres of work are training the youth in trades that fetch them decent jobs through career, communication and life skills, and the children through supplementary education, leadership, participatory programmes towards retention and good performance in the studies. We are trying to help women through self-help group formation and income generating programs. Ignorance is the root cause of evil. Hence, the trust lays emphasis on awareness of self, surroundings, and the society so that one can live with solidarity.
