Kaviri Village Development Society

Kaviri Village Development Society (KVDS) is a non-governmental, non-profitable organisation managed by the youth of the Cauvery delta in Tamil Nadu. Founded in the year 2012, the association is a government-recognized body and is registered under the Tamil Nadu societies registration act - 1975 as ‘Kaviri Village Development Society’; Which strives to provide all facilities to the residents of the area, without discriminating on the basis of religion, caste, region, language or gender. The organisation helps the students achieve high standards in education. It offers them assistance in education, talent development opportunities, and guidance in tackling the examinations. It conducts spoken English classes and counselling sessions for higher education. It regularly offers them life-education – something that the schools and colleges do not give. This ensures that the youth energy is channelled into positive and constructive aspects and eventually benefits them, their families and their communities.
