About
Kutumba was registered in 1991, to support women who came to Bangalore to get trained in livelihood programs. Our group foster care program provided Read moresafe housing, good nutrition, and psychosocial support for young girls from districts across Karnataka. We have closed down the initial program for differently abled girls and now we are concentrating on our day care program to care for children of migrant workers living in slums around the Kutumba campus. We care for the children through planned and monitored nutrition, an annual health check up camp for children and their parents and health education and awareness programs.
Action
Kutumba runs programs focused on childcare, counseling, and vocational training for women to help them become financially independent.
