Action

At Tapasya, we address these challenges through low-cost, high-impact interventions that create a supportive ecosystem. Our trained community enablers—called Sakhis—engage directly with vulnerable families through regular home visits, ensuring access to doorstep services. They also collaborate with local government service providers such as ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers (AWW), PDS shopkeepers, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), and Gram Panchayats to strengthen last-mile delivery. Together, our Tapasya Seva Kendras and Sakhis act as a vital bridge between families and the social welfare schemes they are entitled to.

Impact

We have supported over 45,000 households so far, helping them unlock the benefits of at least one social welfare scheme through the dedicated efforts of 100+ trained Sakhis. Together, we have facilitated benefits with a cumulative value exceeding ₹500 crore. Additionally, we are running seven Tapasya Seva Kendras across different communities to extend our reach and impact.
