Vision: Empowering vulnerable families to access government benefits and facilitating their path out of poverty within their lifetime Mission: Empowering one million vulnerable families with knowledge and tools to harness the power of social welfare programs by 2030
Action
At Tapasya, we address these challenges through low-cost, high-impact interventions that create a supportive ecosystem. Our trained community enablers—called Sakhis—engage directly with vulnerable families through regular home visits, ensuring access to doorstep services. They also collaborate with local government service providers such as ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers (AWW), PDS shopkeepers, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), and Gram Panchayats to strengthen last-mile delivery. Together, our Tapasya Seva Kendras and Sakhis act as a vital bridge between families and the social welfare schemes they are entitled to.
