About

The Seed of Shree Harsiddh Education Trust (SHET) was planted way back in 2003. While The initial few years were about building a strong foundation, Read morethe last couple of years have seen amazing growth, taking SHET to new heights with serve the community. As much as this process has been organic, it would not have been possible without a focused, conscious and deliberate growth and recognition that this transition is a tradeoff between the present and the future. Allied with this, has been the realization that navigating this transition would mean to look at SHET through a different lens as strategies that were promising for a small scale organization can hinder the growth and sustainability for a larger Organization. With SHET’s maxim, that ‘being better is more important than being bigger’ the continuous challenge has been to ensure that the growth does not jeopardize SHET’s culture, significance of its beneficiaries, its people, its execution processes, and its quality and controls. SHET’s story of growth is as much as story of the organizations scales of work as well as growth in each of its clients as well as its team. Given the nature of intervention at times, growth can be momentary, transitory, intangible and not apparent. However, SHET’s story is incomplete and futile without mapping the growth and change that happens in the life of its beneficiaries. From the very ancient period, the status of women was very lower in the society. The strength of the women has been always underestimated by the society and women have become victims of many social, economic evils. With the passage of time, the notable change has occurs in the status of women as many different departments in government, non-government, corporate, even politics women has occupied. But every coin has two sides. Still women had discriminated, exploited for different reasons like in family, at workplace, at society too. So as a part of that efforts which government has focused for women, our trust has organized mahila vikas shibir for 200 SHGs in which we had provided different kind of awareness as well as entrepreneurial guidance so that their hidden potentialities can be utilized in effective manner and they can become economical independent. Also Conducting Sakhi One Stop Center (OSC) in Kheda district of Gujarat State to reduce domestic violence and provide justice to women with all types of SKILL TRAINING We could see that now a day our government has puts lots of efforts in the field of skill development. The reason behind this is only to develop, create skills among the people so that they can get livelihood. If a person will have a particular skill for complete the Task successfully, he or she will be able to get job or get livelihood through different ways. So for enable people to get work and livelihood, our organization has organized skill development program under which we provide awareness regarding skill, its benefits, financial opportunities, earning opportunities, its market scope etc. Especially For Girls, women, persons with disabilities, Tribal groups was targeted and enrolled them to job oriented Vocational Curses like Beauty Parlor Course, Computer Courses, Embroidery, and Tailoring, marketing, forest product making and value adding trainings were provided to 15257 beneficiaries of 1000 SHGs. In Addition SHET is expanding the target areas throughout the Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh with following initiatives of skill Program along with the current areas. LEADERSHIP In the present scenario, our youth is suffering from many problems regarding their career, education, their development etc. and we all know, if youth do not have skills, they will be fail to get proper career growth. Leader ship quality is very important to achieve goal, lead the team for achieve objectives as well as complete task successfully with team. All this will help to build their career better in any industry. So that one day leadership development programme has organized by our organization in several villages. So that youth can get some skills to get work done by others as well as they can direct or lead some own ventures also.
