    The Local Area Economy (LAE) survey serves as the basis for 4S's identification of a region's potential livelihood sector. It also offers end-to-end support to the rural poor by offering a range of services that include the development of institutions, technology transfer, productivity enhancement, local value addition, microenterprise development, financial assistance, and marketing support in an integrated manner, all while ensuring that the interventions are environmentally, socially, and economically viable.

    To help microbusiness owners and FPOs with sorting, grading, local value addition, product design, quality control, packing, branding and marketing their value-added products, 4S offers the necessary support and capacity building. To guarantee the viability and profitability of their business, 4S also offers the required assistance in obtaining the required funding, subsidies, licenses, and expertise in setting up appropriate accounting and MIS systems.
