We4You is a decade old Odisha based non-profit organization focused on upliftment and enhancement of livelihoods of the underprivileged Persons with Read moreDisabilities. We strongly believe that education beholds the power of transforming one’s life and making them abled enough to lead their life with dignity and respect. So, through our Audiobook Initiative, we have been converting textbooks into Audio Books for students with visual impairment. Due to the unavailability of enough braille presses in our country, there are not enough Braille books for all the blind students. In past years we have already recorded over 1000 books in various languages such as Odia, English, Hindi, Bengali, Rajasthani, etc. and have provided them for free of cost at various special schools across 9 different states of the country and over 10,000 visually impaired children have been benefited out of it. We have a wide network of volunteers belonging to various geographical locations, educational and occupational backgrounds, and also from various age groups as well. Currently, we are even developing tactile books for providing better quality education for students with visual impairment. We even conduct various events and sports meet to encourage Children with Disabilities to push their limits and achieve their goal by breaking out of their shell. For instance, Utsav a sport meet for Specially-abled children. We also provide vocational training for the various category of disabilities to enable them to face interviews and be prepared for the harsh battles of life. We even timely conduct various events promoting inclusivity such as Inclusive campaigns, Blind Dates among Visually impaired and persons without disability, etc.  We also conduct several inclusive awards shows such as the Women of Courage Awards on the occasion of International Women’s Day every year to promote the phenomenal women in our society; Social Impact Awards on the occasion of International Volunteer Day to promote social workers who go beyond their capabilities to fight for the weak and underprivileged and on the occasion of International Day of Disabilities we organize various sports meets, Film Festivals, Photography Exhibition, and award function as well. We even provide relief and required assistance as per our capability during pandemics, epidemics, or disasters at worst affected places.

The organization has launched an Assistive Devices Library to revolutionize the way blind children engage with literature.
