RAIDS working at Peddapanjani Mandal and other two mandals of Chittoor district, AP mainly concentrate on the development of the weaker section like Read moreSC and Adhivasi tribal in the interior villages of rural areas. The main objective of the organization is to create awareness and self-employment skills working with the local government in various activities which are more essential for the development of the rural poor. RAIDS has been formed by activists and NGO volunteers who are committed to the social justice, empowerment of traditional, most marginalized communities and creating a lasting social change in the living and working conditions of vulnerable and most deplorable social groups. These activist's who have taken up Adivasi communities issues and struggles on the ground and engaged in social action for over many years have formed this organization in order to respond to social, political, culture and economic, injustice, violations and issues. Our core strategies include mass mobilization, organizing the indigenous native communities into village-level groups called " Grama Sangatana " as well as federations.
