Drishti Foundation which operates Little Hearts Learning Centre, was established in 2009 by Gowri Ramesh and Reshmy Nikith to address the educational Read moreand functional needs of differently-abled individuals. Starting in a modest 100 sq. ft space with 6 children, 2 professionals, and 4 volunteers, it has significantly expanded. Currently, it serves 50 children with a staff of 31. The organisation, guided by a vision of equal educational opportunities for all, is committed to further growth. Plans include venturing into vocational training, focusing on a skill development programme aimed at enhancing employability and fostering social inclusion. The organisation, in its pursuit of creating a holistic learning environment, emphasizes the development of independence, functional, educational, social, and vocational skills for its students. Tailoring programmes to meet the unique needs of each individual, the Drishti Foundation works towards achieving specific milestones. Its overarching goal is to shape an inclusive society and empower students for independent and dignified living. With a mission to increase social acceptance of special children in the educational system and advocate for equal rights, the Drishti Foundation intervenes to develop skills and maximize potential, contributing to the vision of equal educational opportunities for all.
