The organization is committed to child education, holistic child development, and women empowerment. Additionally, they aspire to create a world where women's well-being is prioritized, empowering them to sustain themselves and their families. The NGO operates as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Registration No. S-E/311). It holds legal status under sections 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and is recognized by Niti Ayog. The Butterfly- Child Welfare and Education program, initiated by the NGO, seeks to provide comprehensive assistance to underprivileged children through a learning program that encompasses both textual and practical knowledge, along with personality development. Symbolizing freedom from inequality and child labour, the butterfly serves as an emblem for this initiative. The NGO has outlined several objectives and strategies to fulfill its mission: * Provide holistic education for children's development. * Create a conducive environment fostering creativity and curiosity. * Ensure free-of-cost remedial education for underprivileged children. * Assist children in choosing the right career path and provide guidance. * Empower rural women by imparting vocational skills and promoting financial independence. * Establish replicable models for bridging the gap between urban and rural India. * Create a cycle of giving back, encouraging talent to contribute to their hometowns. The organization operates at the grassroots level, bringing education to the doorstep of children's homes. ANAND NGO's remedial and bridge centers offer free tutorials, covering subjects such as Hindi, English, and Mathematics, to fill gaps in formal education. The focus extends beyond academics to include positive habits like cleanliness, hygiene, and discipline. ANAND NGO pays meticulous attention to various aspects, including menstrual sanitation and child healthcare. Recreational activities, such as dance competitions, painting, magic shows, and puppet shows, play a significant role in ANAND NGO's child welfare programs in Delhi. The organization aims to reach out to children engaged in various professions like rag picking, begging, toy selling, and shoe polishing, as well as dropouts or those who have never attended school. The goal is to enrol these children in formal or open schools within three years of intervention, with the ultimate objective of reaching at least standard 5.
