The Organization Pararth Samiti was formed by like-minded youths of Chhindwara with an aim to contribute towards rural development. The team started Read moretheir work from the Tribal dominated area of the District. In the initial period, well aware about the limited resources of the organization, the team took up the work for other established organizations and made contributions in building community structures, the formation of a women self-help group, malaria eradication program etc. The experience provided a learning base for the organization. Over the years the organization has evolved and has broad-based its activities to address possible issues related to rural poverty.  With a vision to “ establish a society free of social and economic uncertainties where everyone gets equal opportunities to excel” as a voluntary organization the Samiti endeavours to work as facilitators in the overall process of development. The members of the Samiti believe that development and subsequent empowerment of the community cannot take place without people’s participation in the entire process. Parth Samiti believes that groups belonging to the marginalized sections become susceptible to blatant and subtle forms of oppression, and exploitation. Samiti strives to generate opportunities for these people and develop capabilities in them to assess their choices and make informed decisions. Pararth believes in the people’s power and the ability of the poor and deprived section of society to change their situation and find solutions to their problems by creating a deeper understanding of their own problems. Gradually enhancing people’s power for desired social change is the developmental strategy of the organization.
