Recognizing the immense potential of young people as catalysts for change, the Martha Farrell Foundation's flagship program, "Kadam Badhate Chalo," harnesses this energy through collaboration with adolescents, communities, civil society, and administrative systems. Co-designed and co-implemented with adolescent leaders, the program empowers them to discover their potential, acquire skills and knowledge, and cultivate their collective voice and agency. By undertaking a journey of self-discovery and collective action, adolescents are equipped to address sexual and gender-based violence in their lives effectively.

During the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, domestic workers faced significant job losses, exacerbating their vulnerability to workplace harassment and gender-based violence. In response, the Martha Farrell Foundation, in collaboration with PRIA, partnered as Knowledge Partners for the 'Sapne Mere, Bhavishya Mera' project, funded by the Netherlands Embassy. The project aimed to empower domestic workers, particularly informal migrant women, by establishing women-led Resource and Support Centers named 'Swabhiman' in Harijan Basti and Bichpadi Village. These centers provided essential support and resources to enhance the self-respect and rights awareness of women domestic workers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to assert their rights as women, citizens, and workers.
