With a very strong belief that citizens’ active participation is very important for better governance, Kanpur Parivartan Forum was formed in 2008. I Read moret is a Citizen’s Forum of aware, responsible and positive thinking citizens of Kanpur, who believe in proactively supporting initiatives that will improve our city; and, are always ready to give time for the city. The Forum has been actively involved in efforts for improving cleanliness in the city. These steps include door-to-door garbage collection, cleaning of drains along the streets, cleaning open areas and parks, developing greenery in the city, working and improving slums, and spot-fixing (Kayakalp) of filthy spots. Financial support for all this work is coming from the citizens of Kanpur. Corporates also trust The Forum and come forward to support our activities with their CSR Funds. Forum has not taken any financial help from any government and/or other agencies.
