  • Ghummakkad Narain - The Travelling Children’s Literature Festival

    It is an innovative initiative by NGOs Nivesh and Himalayan Heritage Art and Cultural Hub. Dedicated to promoting reading and literature appreciation in both private and government schools in English and Hindi, the festival honors the memory of writer Thakur Vishva Narain Singh. In collaboration with educational entities and publishers like Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, National Book Trust, Penguin, and others, the festival aims to instill a love for literature. Partnerships with cultural institutions such as the French Embassy, Italian Cultural Centre, British Council, among others, contribute to the festival's diverse engagement.
