In partnership with Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi, the hospital introduced Eicher eye and ear screening mobile vans to deliver advanced and cost-effective healthcare services to truck drivers. Recognizing the importance of clear vision and good hearing abilities in preventing road traffic accidents, the initiative targets major transport hubs in the Kanpur region. Through satellite centers, outreach camps, and a mobile ophthalmic van model (Eicher eye and ear screening mobile van), truck drivers undergo screening, receive on-the-spot spectacle provision, and are referred for further treatment at the hospital.

The Rural Eye Relief Camp is one of the hospital's most enduring and extensive projects, serving the rural communities of Kanpur and neighbouring districts. Identified cataract cases are then referred to JL Rohatgi Hospital for necessary eye surgery. Supported by the government and generous donations from philanthropic organizations, this project has successfully conducted over 300,000 eye surgeries through more than 4,000 eye relief camps since its inception in 1946.
