RCME is known for its consistent communication through its newsletter, 'Eastern Bridge', and its informative website. It has a history of impactful projects, such as The Winners Bakery and initiatives addressing community health needs like the Penn Nalam Cancer Screening Bus. Collaborating with healthcare centres, it has pioneered efforts in healthcare, including the Rotary Pulse-Polio immunization campaign.   • E - Shala Programme

    District

    RCME's E-Shala programme focuses on enhancing literacy and education, ensuring every individual's right to education is met. Its school infrastructure initiative aims to impact over 10,000 underprivileged students across institutions like Vivekananda Education Society and Ramakrishna Mission. The programme includes installing Smart Boards and content worth approximately RS. 1,50,00,000, updating science labs with a value of RS. 25,00,000, and providing language learning through soft skills and spoken language training valued at RS. 25,00,000, thereby improving communication skills among students.

  • Diagnostic & Dialysis Centres

    District

    RCME collaborates with the Greater Chennai Corporation to establish dialysis and diagnostic centres, enhancing healthcare accessibility. It plans to establish a fully functional dialysis unit at Chennai's Urban Community Health Center, benefiting over 2.5 lakh individuals. Free testing and dialysis services will be extended to the low-income populace, with an estimated 2600 beneficiaries annually. The project involves an investment of Rs. 1,00,00,000 for the dialysis centre and Rs. 20,00,000 for the diagnostic centre, facilitating essential healthcare services for the community.
